What Is NorthSide OnSite?

NorthSide OnSite allows your business to deposit checks into your NorthSide Bank account electronically from your office, anytime, any day! This is made possible by the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act (Check 21) which took effect in October 2004. It made a “substitute check” the legal equivalent of the original check. A “substitute check” is an image of the original check with some additional routing information. This allows organizations to convert the paper checks they receive into electronic images.

You can deposit checks using your computer and a desk top scanner located at your own business site. Each check scanned for deposit generates an electronic image that is transmitted directly to a central processing center, working its way into the collection stream faster than a paper check and making funds available sooner.

Is NorthSide OnSite Right for You?

Does your business…

  • Have multiple locations?
  • Make deposits after normal banking hours?
  • Pay transportation costs to deliver deposits?
  • Receive high check volume and low cash volume?
  • Receive large checks?
  • Have checks sitting on your desk for more than a day?
  • Want access to your money faster?
  • Have safety concerns about employees driving to the bank daily?
  • Have trouble finding the time to go to the bank?

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, then NorthSide OnSite may benefit your company. We will be glad to give you a free, in-office demo of the program.
